EVERY WEEK SOMNETHING MORE BEAUTIFUL
Since the beginning of the year, the new owner, Christine von Seydlitz, has succeeded in putting her plans into practice: to renovate and modernize the Hotel Heimhude with its 25 rooms, piece by piece. First of all, the breakfast room as the heart of the Art Nouveau villa, now welcomes guests in calm, elegant blue. A fresh treatment for all rooms has now been started.
The essence of a hotel room is, of course, a comfortable bed. Therefore, in two double rooms, the old furniture has been replaced by modern and extremely comfortable box-spring beds. Four further double rooms will follow shortly. This kind of “bed change” is not easy to manage during the ongoing operation of the small hotel. Christine von Seydlitz: “I was extremely nervous when the furniture van first stopped in front of our small hotel. In a few hours the old beds had to be dismantled and the new ones had to be built up quickly. The fact that this all happened completely silent and professional. I was both amazed and happy. Now I am pleased with the positive feedback from our guests: For me, there is nothing more satisfying in the morning than to look in cheerful faces of people who have simply slept well.”
For a good night’s sleep there is another innovation: All rooms have been or are provided with new curtains for a tasteful look during daytime and at night with the desired darkness. Once the feel-good factor in all living rooms has increased noticeably, then it’s time for the renovations of the bath rooms.
